Bouloo collects the following data: identity (first name, last name, profile photo), email, phone, job address, location (only at your request, to suggest jobs near you), photos attached to jobs, messages exchanged in the App and payment data (processed by Stripe, never stored on our servers). For Students: photo of the student card, selfie, university email, institution, field and level of study. This data is used for matching and profile verification.
Your data is used to: connect Clients and Students, verify student profiles, secure payments and pay out Students, prevent fraud, send notifications about your jobs and improve the service.
Processing is based on: performance of the contract (Article 6.1.b GDPR) for data needed to run the service (identity, payment, messages), your consent (Article 6.1.a) for location and photos, and Bouloo's legitimate interest (Article 6.1.f) for profile verification and fraud prevention. Verification documents (student card, selfie) are kept for the duration of the verification and at most for the life of the account.
Bouloo uses: Supabase Inc. (data hosting, EU servers), Stripe Inc. (payments and payouts, PCI-DSS certified) and Firebase / Google (push notifications). All our processors are bound by GDPR-compliant contractual obligations. No data is sold to third parties.
The App only uses technical trackers strictly necessary for it to work (session, preferences). No advertising trackers are used. Anonymised audience measurement may be added, only with your consent, in line with CNIL recommendations.
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, port, object to and restrict the processing of your data. You can delete your account and all your data at any time from "My account › Delete my account". For any other request, write to contact@bouloo.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (French data-protection authority).
